Timpano Italian Chophouse at 450 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

My husband and I came by for Happy Hour and enjoyed a glass of wine and a beer. The wine was $6 and the beer $5 on happy hour menu. We ordered the skillet fire roasted mussels which were delicious ($11). The mussels came with a really nice stand for which the skillet to stand on with an empty bowl underneath for the shells. The skillet came SIZZLING HOT and smelled of deliciousness. The mussels were extremely hot and the shell burned my hand a bit so be careful! Quantity wise, there are really a lot of mussels.

The bread the mussels came with was a bit soggy and lacked flavor. I expected it to be a bit more hot and crusty considering the mussels were placed in a blazing hot fire oven. I left feeling that I would come back for dinner another time.

They have large private rooms that can host 50-100+ people as was told to me by the event planner.
